This is a companion volume with more than 1000 photographs of life at RAF Uetersen in the decade when it was occupied by the RAF and RCAF. Most of the photographs were contributed by those who served there and they re-awaken memories of what for most of them was a very happy time in their service lives. There are also a number of photographs of the period up to 1945 when it was a Luftwaffe base, and of the many years since 1956 when the Luftwaffe returned and where it still is.
